  • We've had another death! Christopher Hitchens, dead at 62 A great loss but worth several points. This one shoots the_botnet and Aewl to the top of the board.

  • We've had another death! Harry Morgan, dead at 96 That's 4 points each to Aewl, Bunk Strutts, Slightly, and wamk.

  • We've had our first death! Andy Rooney, dead at 92. That puts the_botnet, Slightly, Terrapod, and wamk on the scoreboard first with 8 each. Mope was the first to report the death (sorry, wamk, he beat you by an hour and a half) so he's on the board with 2 points.

  • I've added the scoreboard to front page.

  • This weekend (my weekend, monday and tuesday) I'll replace the list of rules here on the front page with a leaderboard.

  • Well, the game has started and the lists are locked. Sometime in the next couple of days a complete list of picks will be posted.

  • It is almost that time. Game starts at midnight. Report a death links are enabled both at the top of the page and on your lists. Please email me if you find anything broken.

  • Pro Tip: If you add a celebrity and they immediately show up as Approved instead of Pending, it is a safe bet that the pick also shows up on someone else's list.

  • While I'm not quite done with everything, it is stable enough to start adding players and filling your list. You've got until the end of the month to get those lists done so get to work.

  • The site is up! Not everything is finished yet and lots here will change throughout the year. The only bit of core functionality that isn't completed yet is the death reporting. It will be done before the game starts at the end of this month. Give me and Aggie Sith a few days to test everything here before signing up. If anything is broken bad enough a database reset will probably be done and you'd lose your lists. I'll announce when you can start signing up and entering your lists.
