DeadPool

Welcome to H&B DeadPool. Pick 25 celebrities that you think will die in the next year. Points are awared based on the age of the celebrity when they die. Get the most points and you win. The grand prize is your choice of H&B coffee mug or beer stein.

Rules

  1. You pick 25 celebrities/famous people that you think will kick the bucket in the next year.

  2. The game starts at 11:59pm (Texas Time), October 31st 2011 and runs until Noon (Texas Time) on October 31st, 2012. The winner will be announced on Halloween afternoon.

  3. When someone on your list dies, you are awarded points based on the person's age at time of death. 100 - age = points. There is a minimum score of 1.

  4. In the event of a tie, the winner will be the player who had the least number of deaths. This might seem counter-intuitive, but the player with the least number of deaths made their score by picking younger people. A single 30 year old (70 points) is worth more than two 65 year olds (35 points each).

  5. To qualify as a celebrity, they must be someone that the average person would recognize as being famous. Yes, being famous for being famous does qualify. Someone who is only famous for being married/related to someone famous does not qualify. ArmedGeek and Aggie Sith do have final say about whether someone qualifies. (MORE DETAILS)

  6. Death reports must be news reports linkable on the intarwebs and must be verified by either ArmedGeek or Aggie Sith.

  7. The first person to report the death of a celebrity gets 2 points. The celebrity must appear on someone's list though so no reporting random celebrity deaths.

  8. Player lists are not publicly viewable but players are allowed to talk about who is on their lists. The overall list of celebrities picked is public but that list doesn't show who picked each celebrity.

  9. When there is a confirmed death and points are awarded, the death notice and any/all players who had that celebrity on their list will be posted.

  10. No US political figures. The last thing I need is the fucking Secret Service seizing my server.

  11. No kids. Celebs must be born before 1993.

  12. If you are convicted of causing the death of any of the celebrities on your list, you forfeit the game. No cheating.
